There are many amazing and fun T.V shows out there. A trillion and one to pick from, finding one with a female lead is a good place to start. As your minister of chilling and enjoyment, I have listed out a few must-watch T.V shows every woman should watch. Well ladies, let's dive in… 1) How to Get Away with Murder. Viola Davis and Shonda Rhimes in one movie. I don't even need to tell you how amazeballs this show is. But on a serious note, this show portrays how intelligent, beautiful, powerful and flawed women can be. Besides the whole of getting away with murder part; this show talks about our deepest desires - Acceptance. 2) The Smart Money Woman Series ( TSMWS) Based on the novel by Arese Ugwu, the show follows Zuri, a big Lagos girl who wakes up to the harsh realities of being dead broke. The catch? To pay her debts and retain financial stability Zuri must confront her financial woes and begin to wear the adult pants more seriously. Besides the show being very educative and juicy; the most important thing about TSMWS is the act of female solidarity. The strong as hell female cast - led by Osas Ighodaro, Lala Akindoju, Toni Tones, Ini-Dima Okojie and Eby Eno - the show also tackles several issues like feminism, money, love and marriage. 3) Buffy the Vampire Slayer Looking for a show with loads of action and humor? Well, Buffy's got you boo. This show is incredibly fun to watch, Buffy kills a bunch of vampires and demons. if you’re into that, you will be very impressed. Its feminist subtext makes it inspiring. 4) Insecure I could give you a million reasons to watch this show. But I'll just list a few. Firstly, if you are a big fan of comedy then Insecure has got you covered. The show explores female friendships, identity, love and lots more. The koko of the matter be say you go enjoy am tire. 5) Sex and the City Friendship, independence, relationships, love and of course sex - the list goes on!! The cast gives us witty lines and the storyline for each episode is simply gripping. Although the show has been criticized for its lack of diversity in cast members, I do believe that every lady should watch this because the themes are super relatable. Well, there it is guys.
